That's the part that is infuriating to me. I found this thread looking for evidence that if I pay the $3 per month it speeds up the page loading that takes an excruciating 7 seconds to see the next page of content. Glad to see that old posts on this subreddit don't get archived so I'll add my take. There are browser add-ons that are supposed to skip Adfly, but they do not work for me. I am willing to endure a lot of adverts if it means I get the CC for free, because at least it is not Adfly - oh yeah, btw, immediately close the tab if you click on a CC download link and it takes you to Adfly it is in theory supposed to basically put an advert between you clicking the link on a creator's blog and the download, so that the creator gets a fraction of a cent, but it is absolutely infested with spam adverts, it often wants you to enable notifications to some dubious site and will not let you past that and oftentimes does not let you to the download afterall.
TSR runs like hot garbage, but it is manageable if you only have to deal with it for like half an hour max every once in a while, I guess. I always have another window with a video playing open while downloading from TSR, because I can watch the video while the countdown runs. I'm still annoyed at the time when it had me wait forever because of the phantom adblocker and then refused to let me download it at the end. I discovered that it works most of the time if I use another browser. I also had the problem that sometimes, it would just not let me download because of an adblocker I don't have.
